Conservation and Impact
For the development of the ecological plan, Open Standards for Conservation methods are used, which provide a complete and methodological approach for strategic planning and conservation management, based on the adaptive management cycle. The Open Standards for Conservation bring together concepts, approaches, and terminology common in the design, management, and monitoring of conservation projects and programs to help improve the conservation practice. The methodology can be applied to any geographic, temporal or programmatic scale, which makes it ¨comparable¨ internationally.
Methodology in the Reserve
Work is prioritized considering the proposed conservation goals and objectives, not only within the limits of the protected areas, but also for general biodiversity conservation beyond the protected area.
